Satu-satunya SMA Negeri di Singaraja yang berdiri tahun 1950 sudah dinyatakan tidak mampu menampung jumlah siswa tersebut.<\/p><p>Tahun 1960 pemerintah membuka SMA baru di Denpasar dengan maksud mengurangi arus siswa yang numplek belajar di Singaraja. Namun lima tahun kemudian SMA baru itu sudah dinyatakan tidak mampu menampung seluruh siswa dari belahan Bali Selatan. Maka berdasarkan SK Menteri P dan K No. 96\/SK\/B\/II\/65 tanggal 1 Agustus 1965, SMA Negeri Denpasar itu dijadikan dua SMA masing-masing dengan nama SMA Negeri 1 dan SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar. Kedua SMA itu dinyatakan sudah berjalan sendiri-sendiri terhitung mulai tanggal 1 Agustus 1965.<\/p><p>Mulai tahun pelajaran 1989\/1990 SPG Negeri Denpasar dialihfungsikan menjadi SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar. Semenjak menjadi SMA, telah terjadi beberapa kali pergantian kepemimpinan, yaitu:<\/p><ul><li>I Gede Putu Soedjana (1989 s.d. 1996)<\/li><li>Drs. I Made Putra (1997 s.d. 1998)I G<br \/>usti Ngurah Tantra, S.Pd. (1998 s.d. 2009)<\/li><li>Drs. Ida Bagus Suyasaputra (2009 s.d. sekarang)<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7c046633 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"7c046633\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6f69fe99 check elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6f69fe99\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Kepala Sekolah<\/h2><p>Fasilitas belajar merupakan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran.
